Job summary

Prestige School Solutions, LLC is seeking a Charter School Financial Professional (Consultant) to enhance accounting services for charter school clients. The role collaborates with Leadership Team and fellow consultants to ensure quality output and timely processing of payroll, budgets, and reports.

Responsibilities include monitoring client budgets, preparing monthly financial reports, and delivering real-time dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or banking.
• Advanced degree in accounting, finance or related business fields.
• CPA license preferred.
• Eligible for fidelity bonding and possess strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coding of payroll, accounts payable, cash receipts, and other transactions for assigned charter school clients.
• Communicate with charter school clients, vendors and employees.
• Oversee payroll processing and related taxes and insurance transactions; schedule AR payments.
• Monitor client budgets and provide timely financial insights.
• Prepare monthly financial reports for client boards and school managers.
• Maintain real-time financial dashboards for client schools.
• Attend client board meetings virtually to present budget reports.
• Create, review and analyze client operating budgets monthly.
• Develop strategies to remedy budget shortfalls and advise on implementation.
