Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of accounting or financial management experience.
• Experience in K-12 education, nonprofit, or governmental accounting preferred.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow).
• Develop and monitor the annual operating budget with department heads.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and vendor payments.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure GAAP compliance.
• Assist with annual audits and grant reporting.
• Monitor internal controls and safeguard assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and leadership.
