Job summary

Connexus Credit Union is seeking a Charge Off Recovery Collector to join their team. This remote position involves working with accounts that have reached a charged off status, utilizing various strategies such as payment plans or legal action to recover debt.

The ideal candidate will have over a year of experience in collections or legal recovery, possess strong negotiation and communication skills, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Qualifications

• 1+ years prior collections, legal collections, repossession and/or post charge-off recovery experience is required.
• Knowledge and understanding of CFPB, FDCPA, and other regulations preferred.
• Ability to identify and elevate legal concerns and reputational risks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact members to collect on written off loans and accounts.
• Process agreements, disputes, and requests.
• Perform Skip Tracing efforts for members and assets.
• Address queries and disputes raised by debtors.
