Job summary

Belden Inc. seeks a System Engineer focused on pre-sales for RUCKUS channel partners across the fourteen northeastern states.

You will perform technical demos, proof of concept trials, training, provide design input and review, and deliver presentations for customers, partners, prospects, and events. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, industry knowledge, and experience as a customer or partner-facing Systems Engineer.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree (BS/BA minimum) in Electrical engineering; Networking Engineering, Information Technology; MIS, CS, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years pre-sales or equivalent experience working with routers, switches, and Wi-Fi technologies.
• A professional networking certification such as CCNA, BPIPA, JNCIA, Cisco, Aruba, RUCKUS, CWNA, etc. is preferred.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot complex problems and provide technical presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sales engineering network design, RF planning, BOM creation, sales engagement, and training.
• Develop territory account plans based on industry trends and business economics.
• Knowledge of RUCKUS Networks wireless, wired, and software solutions.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners to differentiate RUCKUS solutions.
• Assist Territory/Partner Manager in driving revenue and achieving quota goals.
