Job summary

Mindrift seeks a CFD-focused professional to train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulations. You will take CAD geometry, run simulations, and develop verified reference solutions with Python checks.

Requirements include a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering degree (PhD optional), hands-on CFD with major tools, solid V&V practices, Python and GitHub proficiency, and English at B2. Remote, flexible hours offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field (energy/oil & gas acceptable).
• Industrial/research CFD experience with OpenFOAM/ANSYS/STAR-CCM+.
• Solid verification/validation practice: mesh-independence studies and validation against experiments or benchmarks.
• Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
• English at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Train and evaluate AI agents on expert-level fluid simulation tasks.
• Set up and run simulations from CAD geometry.
• Build verified reference solutions and write Python checks for results.
• Contribute to project planning and documentation.
