Job summary

Jobrapido seeks a Certified Medical Coder with outpatient and ED coding expertise for a 8-week remote contract in the United States. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, 35 hours per week. Weekend coverage may be required at times. Pay rate is $35/hour on W2, with benefits and dedicated recruiter support.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in outpatient coding, including ER coding, and proficiency with 3M and HDS coding systems. Strong knowledge of ICD-10/ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of outpatient medical coding experience.
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Ability to research and resolve coding issues.
• English proficiency required.
