Job summary

Clarity RCM is seeking a certified medical coder to support dermatology accounts and expanding orthopedics. You will own coding integrity across a defined client set, working with account managers to resolve denials, ensure payer navigation, and maintain documentation quality.

The role emphasizes AI-enabled workflows, proficiency in ModMed, EZDERM, Nextech, and eCW, and the ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment with cross-specialty exposure.

Qualifications

• Active AAPC credential; 1–2 years medical coding experience; dermatology expertise.
• Orthopedic coding experience is a major plus.
• Self-starter who handles ambiguity and works independently.
• AI-native mindset; uses AI tools to improve efficiency.
• Calm under pressure; clear, compliant communication with managers and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Code across specialties: ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS Level II with dermatology focus.
• Validate notes against E/M guidelines and escalate ambiguities to providers.
• Research and resolve denials; draft stronger appeals using AI tools.
• Navigate ModMed, EZDERM, Nextech, eCW and other platforms.
• Identify recurring documentation errors and suggest workflow improvements.
