Qualifications

• Minimum two years of healthcare setting experience.
• Minimum one year of professional coding experience.
• Certification as CPC, RHIT or equivalent coding credential.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel and medical terminology.
• Strong time management and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Conduct documentation and coding reviews within assigned work queues across multiple specialties.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding regulations and elevate identified trends and issues as necessary.
• Assist with complex coding issues and participate in project work as assigned.
