Job summary

The Oregon Clinic in Portland is seeking a full-time Certified Coder II or III for our Central Administration team, offering hybrid/remote work after training.

In this multispecialty role you will assign CPT/ICD-10 codes, ensure compliance with standards, and help maximize reimbursement while maintaining at least 95% coding accuracy. EPIC experience is preferred and strong communication with clinicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four (4) years of coding experience in multispecialty healthcare.
• Current Coding Certification from AAC/ provider boards or equivalent is required.
• Continuing education units every 2 years for verification of expertise.
• EPIC EMR experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT/ICD-10, A/R basics, denials, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure codes comply with all rules, laws, and industry standards while maximizing legitimate reimbursement.
• Assign CPT, ICD-10, and modifiers to physician services for accurate billing.
• Meet productivity benchmarks with a minimum of 95% coding accuracy.
• Review coding upon request and provide corrections to the requester.
• Other duties as assigned.
