Job summary

BJC HealthCare is hiring a full-time Centralized Scheduling Representative to coordinate pre-registration and scheduling for outpatient radiology tests such as MRI, CT, and mammograms. The role emphasizes accurate patient data and insurance verification while ensuring high-quality service.

Training is on-site at the Commons for 20 weeks (8:00–4:30) with a 30-minute lunch; remote hours are Monday–Friday 9:00–5:30, plus a Saturday rotation every 12 weeks (8:00–12:00).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 2 years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hospital pre-registration and scheduling across multiple BJC systems and hospitals; verify demographics and insurance, schedule tests per order.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and test selection; provide prep instructions and coordinate appointments to meet patient and department needs.
• Maintain compliance with MSP and HIPAA; operate with independence and focus on accuracy in MPI and patient records.
