160 Driving Academy is hiring as a Virtual CDL A Instructor to deliver online classroom instruction and assist students preparing for CDL permits and theory requirements. This remote role leverages your driving experience to train future truck drivers, with benefits and ongoing onboarding support.

Applicants should have a valid CDL Class A license, a safe driving record, and proficiency with online platforms such as Salesforce, Zoom, Canvas, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the state you are applying for or have a residence secured for relocation.
• Valid CDL Class A license with a minimum of 24 months of verified tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Safe driving record and ability to pass DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
• Strong computer skills and experience using virtual instruction platforms.

Responsibilities

• Teach CDL knowledge through virtual classroom instruction focused on permit preparation and theory.
• Provide step-by-step guidance on CDL topics, including safety regulations and FMCSA-based requirements.
• Ensure students are prepared for CDL permit testing standards.
• Promote safety and professionalism in all instruction.
