Job summary

The J.M. Smucker Company is seeking a Manager, Category Analytics to build trust with assigned retailers and support Smucker’s sales teams across designated categories and JMS Brand activation.

You will lead customized category growth opportunities, diagnostics, and insights-driven activations. This role centers on anchoring planning with facts, delivering shopper and category analytics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform JBP, top-to-top and QBR meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a relevant field.
• 6+ years in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry.
• 3+ years Category Management or Shopper Insights experience.
• Experience leveraging shopper/CPG data to drive insights.
• Proven ability to translate insights into action with compelling storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and delivery of Customer specific Category Growth Drivers – strategy, initiatives and customized content of compelling category strategies and stories.
• Owns 4P tactical solutions for assigned customers and categories, shelving and assortment with cross-functional price/promo.
• Provides thought leadership to elevate Smucker’s voice with assigned retailer.
• Leads Category reviews and assessments, JBP, QBR engagements with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Translates insights into data-driven recommendations and supports omni-activation across category deliverables.
