Qualifications

• 2+ years of Casualty Adjuster experience.
• Active Adjuster License required (any state).
• Strong investigation, liability analysis, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage claims independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Client interaction via phone and email/reporting.
• Outside field and vendor direction/interaction.
• Examine claims forms, policies and endorsements, client instructions and other records to determine coverages.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information required by client, government and Crawford.
• Settle claims by determining coverage and liability, issuing settlement checks, and pursuing subrogation when appropriate.
• Control claims costs.
• Determine if litigation is necessary.
• Investigate claims for liability.
