Job summary

SanMar is seeking a Cash Application Representative to accurately post and reconcile customer payments, apply checks, ACH, wires, EFTs to customer accounts, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with the AR team.

This role requires attention to detail, proficiency with MS Dynamics and Excel, 10-key by touch, and strong communication. You’ll support department goals, handle sensitive data with confidentiality, and may help with additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in credit or applications support preferred.
• Must learn company's software and systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile customer payments to SanMar accounts.
• Prepare payment details and create Excel spreadsheets for uploads.
• Reconcile discrepancies in postings.
• Process ACH payments and refunds per procedures.
• Provide regular productivity and project updates to management.
• Collaborate with team to achieve department goals and improve customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
