Job summary

UBC, a pharmaceutical support leader, is offering a fully remote Case Manager role. The primary responsibility is day-to-day caseload oversight, ensuring timely authorizations, and serving as the main contact for patients, providers, and field reimbursement.

You will coordinate across teams to improve patient access and support programs. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years in relevant roles, 2+ years in PBM or reimbursement, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or six years of relevant working experience required.
• Two or more years of PBM or reimbursement experience preferred.
• Pharmacy-benefit management knowledge a plus.
• Certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day case management oversight and caseload coordination.
• Serve as single point of contact for prior authorization and appeal communications.
• Explain patient benefits and responsibilities to stakeholders.
• Assess eligibility for additional services and patient support programs.
• Perform quality checks and report trends to leadership.
• Ensure prior authorizations and reauthorizations are obtained timely.
