Job summary

Abramson Labor Group is seeking a detail-oriented Case Manager to handle a California workers' compensation caseload. This remote role requires residency in California and offers competitive hourly pay. You will audit files, prepare case summaries, and coordinate with defense attorneys and adjusters to move cases toward resolution.

Ideal candidates are analytical, organized, and proactive, with experience in CA WC and the ability to manage a full caseload while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience handling California workers' compensation cases.
• Knowledge of the California WC process from intake to resolution.
• Ability to calculate TD and PD, including apportionment.
• Experience reviewing QME/AME reports.
• Strong written communication and case summarization.
• Confident communicating with defense attorneys and adjusters.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage a full caseload.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned workers' compensation caseload from intake through final resolution.
• Audit cases at every stage and set clear next steps.
• Prepare full case summaries and keep them current as cases develop.
• Calculate temporary disability (TD) and permanent disability (PD), including ratings.
• Review QME/AME reports and determine next steps.
• Escalate when needed and coordinate with defense attorneys and adjusters.
