Job summary

AlphaGov is seeking a Case Management Operations Lead to establish and run intake and case-management operations for a CDBG-DR homeowner recovery program in Alaska.

You will design procedures, lead communications, coordinate with inspection and scope teams, and produce metrics for program leadership, while training staff and partners to standards. This is a remote-first engagement with occasional travel for field activities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading case-management operations in a benefits, recovery, housing, or public-service program.
• Experience designing workflows, file standards, quality controls, and performance reporting.
• Experience leading applicant or client communications across high-volume or geographically distributed work.
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator.

Responsibilities

• Design intake and case-management operating procedures and the staffing model
• Lead applicant communications, eligibility documentation, file quality control, and escalations
• Coordinate case status with construction inspection and scope teams
• Produce applicant-file metrics, exception reporting, and operational insights for program leadership
• Train and coach case staff and partners to program standards
• Improve handoffs, service consistency, and documentation quality across the recovery lifecycle
