Job summary

Black Hills Works seeks a Remote Support Professional to provide virtual caregiving to individuals in their homes from the Remote Support Center in Rapid City, SD. You will ensure safety, dignity, and independence for clients while coordinating with the care team.

Required are strong verbal and written communication, basic documentation skills, and the ability to document services and manage time/attendance.

Qualifications

• Proficient in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Ability to document services and enter time/attendance.
• Ability to communicate with supervisor and co-workers.
• Ability to type <40 words per minute.
• Experience with Assistive Technology or Electronic Health Records.

Responsibilities

• Develop rapport with individuals and cultivate a safe, supportive relationship.
• Provide support and guidance per Individual Care Plans.
• Respond to safety concerns and dispatch Backup Support as needed.
• Acknowledge and respond to all system alerts within proper timeframes and prioritize if multiple alerts trigger.
• Respect privacy and confidentiality.
