Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year in medical billing, reimbursement, insurance verification, or related medical office experience.
• Previous data entry experience and ability to type 30 wpm+.

Responsibilities

• Perform outbound calls to obtain information and document accurately.
• Respond to inbound calls and assist customers with pharmacy-related services.
• Maintain professionalism and provide efficient, courteous service.
• Contact insurance companies for benefit investigations and coverage eligibility.
• Provide prior authorizations and appeals support.
• Assist patients with enrollment for copay assistance programs.
• Adhere to HIPAA guidelines and program standards.
