Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Senior Manager to supervise the care coordination team serving long-term care members, promoting quality and efficacy of care management delivery. This remote role requires travel within a designated Iowa territory for in-person visits and assessments.

Responsibilities include assigning caseloads, guiding complex cases, coaching staff, onboarding new members, and ensuring regulatory compliance. A Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of related experience is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience.
• For Iowa Only: Bachelors degree required and 4+ years experience with populations served; or RN with 6+ years of experience with population served.
• Equivalent experience through knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the role.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the long-term care management team and oversees day-to-day escalations and care coordination.
• Assigns caseloads and work assignments based on state requirements and member needs.
• Guides junior team members on complex cases and provider communications.
• Educates team on initiatives and member outreach to improve engagement.
• Evaluates team performance and provides feedback on goals and milestones.
• Coaches and mentors staff to improve member and provider experience.
• Assists with onboarding, hiring, and training of team members.
• Leads and champions changes within responsibility scope.
• Performs other duties and ensures policy compliance.
