Job summary
Baxter Healthcare is seeking a Remote Upgrades Engineer to lead upgrades of Care Communications products, including site assessments and server/device configurations. You will collaborate with customer IT teams and internal R&D to ensure smooth, secure upgrades and integrations.
The role requires strong communication, cross-functional teamwork, and experience with Windows/Linux, networking, and middleware. Baxter offers a flexible onsite policy and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or 4 years in software/networking with two certs
- Strong collaboration with R&D, PMs, and customers
- Knowledge in two or more areas: SQL/Analytics, Networking, Windows/Linux, Kubernetes, HL7, security
Responsibilities
- Lead upgrades of Baxter Care Communications products, including server/device upgrades and network configurations
- Engage in detailed discussions with internal teams and partners on integrations
- Ensure quality and reliability post-upgrade across products
- Participate in cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
- Support continuous process improvement with the team
