Job summary

Handshake is seeking cardiologists to support AI research through flexible, part-time contract work. You will apply your cardiovascular expertise to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback to help AI reason like a practicing cardiologist.

The program runs year-round with project opportunities across different areas of expertise. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside your current role.

Qualifications

• Completed MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
• Residency training in cardiovascular disease, followed by fellowship training.
• Current US medical license to practice medicine.

Responsibilities

• Use clinical expertise to create expert-level tasks based on real cardiovascular workflows (ECG interpretation, echocardiography, cardiac imaging review, catheterization findings, risk stratification, medication management, treatment planning).
• Review and evaluate AI-generated responses for clinical accuracy and patient safety.
• Provide clear, structured written feedback to improve AI model performance.
• Work remotely and complete tasks at your own pace with no set schedule.
