Job summary

Mercor is seeking board-certified cardiologists (MDs and DOs) to evaluate health AI models in partnership with a leading AI lab. You will read de-identified patient charts and judge AI answers to clinical questions in cardiology, then write structured rationales and flag potential safety issues.

This is a fully remote role in the United States. Ideal candidates hold ABIM Cardiovascular Disease certification, have an active US medical license, and completed residency with fellowship as required.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease or the AOA.
• Active, unrestricted US medical license.
• Residency completed with fellowship in cardiology.
• Currently practicing in the US with at least 1 year of independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI answers to cardiology questions for clinical accuracy and safety.
• Read de-identified patient charts and judge AI responses.
• Write structured rationales on clinical rigor, completeness and clarity.
• Flag errors that could impact patient safety.
