Job summary
Abbott is a global healthcare leader seeking a Principal Field Clinical Procedure Specialist to work remotely in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division. You will collaborate with investigators, hospitals, and CROs to drive clinical studies, while supporting post-procedural follow-ups and adverse event reviews.
The role demands strong communication, leadership in a matrixed environment, and willingness to travel 50–60%+ with international travel.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in technical science or related field (Master's or equivalent combination acceptable).
- At least 7 years of experience with healthcare professionals in clinical research, clinical case support, or commercial case support.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains liaison with clinical investigators, medical educators, CROs, hospitals, and research institutions to initiate and expedite studies.
- Helps with post-procedural follow-ups as necessary.
- Reviews adverse event cases with investigators, monitors timelines, and issues status reports.
- Assists with design, development, and monitoring of clinical evaluation projects.
- Trains investigators and site personnel on relevant procedural and technical considerations.
