Job summary

Boston Medical Center is hiring a full-time Cardiac Device Technician who will play a critical role in the management of patients with cardiovascular implantable electronic devices. The technician will assist in daily reviews of remote pacemaker and ICD transmissions, troubleshoot monitoring systems, and maintain patient records.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, current BLS certification, and experience with cardiac devices. The salary ranges from $26.68 to $37.50 per hour, with additional benefits such as medical and dental coverage.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years of experience reviewing remote device transmissions.
• Successful completion of a cardiac device educational program or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Triage reports on a daily basis.
• Notify patients of follow-up.
• Assist patients with transmissions over the phone.
• Troubleshoot issues with remote monitoring systems.
