Job summary

Rhythm's Remote Device Clinician remotely monitors patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices (CIEDs) using Rhythm’s software. The specialist applies electrophysiology and biomedical engineering concepts to assess device function, analyze diagnostics, and document findings per best practices.

The role requires a degree or related field experience, device rhythm management experience, and certifications (CRAT, RCES/CCT/IBHRE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in a related field is required.
• 2+ years of implanted cardiac device management experience.
• 3+ years cardiology experience, electrophysiology preferred.
• CRAT certification required prior to employment.
• Experience interrogating diagnostics for Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik.

Responsibilities

• Integrate knowledge base to perform evaluations, diagnostic reviews, and analysis through remote monitoring.
• Recognize abnormal functions of pacemakers, defibrillators, ILRs, and CRT devices, and recommend remediation strategies.
• Communicate with Rhythm’s clinical team and providers regarding CIED function and diagnostic data through accurate, professional documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to HIPAA and PHI standards/protocols.
• Support and contribute to Rhythm’s patient-centered care philosophy: Every team member is a caregiver.
