Job summary

The Chemours Company is seeking a Capital Project Estimator to join our team. This hybrid role supports multiple sites with frequent coordination across functions to deliver accurate capital and non-capital estimates through project life cycles.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical/heavy industry, proficiency with Aspen Cost Estimators, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, with residence in or near the Central/Eastern time zones for site

Qualifications

• 7+ years of estimating experience in petrochemical, heavy industrial or related industry.
• Experience with Aspen Capital Cost Estimator and Aspen In Plant Cost estimator.
• Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within and outside of Chemours.

Responsibilities

• Provide conceptual estimates in support of early investment options.
• Prepare all estimate types as project progresses.
• Ensure estimates meet industry quality requirements for each gate.
• Generate cost reduction concepts to improve project efficiency.
• Lead early estimate plans and updates through project implementation.
• Maintain estimating system cost libraries and historical data.
• Assist Risk Competency Leads and discuss estimate impacts for risk processes.
• Distribute benchmark/metric data for capital and non-capital activities to gauge performance.
