Job summary

InterVarsity Press is seeking a Campus Staff Minister I for the Louisiana Area, with a remote-USA work setup. The role entails spiritual leadership, campus outreach, and ministry development to form witnessing communities on college campuses.

You will guide students and faculty in Scripture, prayer, and service, while coordinating programs and partnerships. The role emphasizes building teams, setting annual goals, and engaging diverse campus communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a four-year campus.
• Associate’s degree required for CSMs assigned to a two-year campus or a community college.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to minister to diverse ethnic communities and faculty.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with word processing, presentation, email, and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Pursue a vibrant relationship with God through Scripture, prayer, and worship.
• Develop self-leadership and relational integrity.
• Lead students and faculty through Scripture, prayer, teaching, and discipleship experiences.
• Set annual goals for qualitative and quantitative growth with teams.
• Create and manage ministry plans, programs, and structures to reach aspirational goals.
• Build leadership teams and supervise interns as delegated.
• Raise and maintain ministry partnerships and volunteer networks.
