Job summary

Nana Management Services, LLC is seeking a Remote Appliance Technician to install, repair, and maintain industrial and commercial refrigeration, HVAC, kitchen and laundry equipment. The role operates in a remote camp setting in Alaska, with rotation schedules and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with commercial/industrial systems, Universal refrigeration certification I-III, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience with commercial/industrial equipment including refrigeration, HVAC, kitchen and laundry appliances.
• Must have Universal refrigeration certification I, II, and III.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record (past 3 years).
• Must pass pre-employment requirements (drug test, physical, fit for duty, hearing test).
• Able to work with others and make quick decisions with minimal supervision.
• Physical ability to stand for 12 hours per shift and live in remote camp dormitories.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs industrial appliances in food service areas, laundries and general service areas.
• Interprets maintenance schedules and completes work orders.
• Diagnoses and repairs large tonnage cooling equipment in controlled environments.
• Serves and repairs heating and boiler systems; performs tear downs, testing and cleaning.
• Lays out and installs structural components; connects pipes and water/power systems.
• Inspects and maintains electrical wiring and components; adheres to safety standards.
• Travels to remote locations for job assignments and completes safety trainings as required.
