Job summary

NMS is seeking a Remote Housekeeper to service remote camp and industrial facilities in Alaska. The role involves comprehensive cleaning across living, work, and food service areas, following safety and sanitation standards.

Rotation is 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off, with Anchorage as the point of hire origin. Candidates must have at least one year of commercial cleaning experience and be able to work in a team, independently when needed, and in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to cooperate and work as part of a team with fellow employees, customers and clients.
• Must be able to make decisions in the moment with little to no supervision.
• Must be on your feet for 12 hours per shift for the scheduled rotation.
• Contract requires employees to speak, understand, read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, or restocks hallways, offices, kitchens, laundry rooms, and common areas.
• Dusts surfaces and cleans various areas with appropriate equipment and solutions.
• Removes and disposes of trash, and may perform light maintenance tasks.
• May operate a vehicle to remote locations and travel to camps as needed.
• Notify supervisor if safety and sanitation standards are not met.
