Job summary

NANA Regional Corporation, Inc. seeks a dedicated remote housekeeper to support remote camp and industrial facilities in Alaska. You will clean living, work, and common areas, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure adherence to safety standards and company values across remote sites.

The role requires flexibility for rotations, the stamina to stand for long shifts, and teamwork with fellow staff. Training covers cleaning procedures and site regulations at Red Dog Mine facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year experience with commercial cleaning equipment and industrial cleaning methods.
• At least 1 year experience in commercial housekeeping.
• Must pass pre-employment checks including background and drug test.
• Must be a NANA shareholder living in the NANA Region.
• Ability to work as part of a team and make quick decisions with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand for up to 12 hours per shift and live in dormitory settings.
• English language skills required for contract compliance and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, sweeps, vacuums, mops, and restocks various areas and equipment.
• Wipes surfaces and uses appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Removes trash and disposes of waste properly.
• Assists with light maintenance and snow/debris removal as needed.
• Operates vehicles to remote locations and adheres to safety standards.
