Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Call Center Supervisor to lead customer service representatives in a front-line capacity, ensuring quality, deadlines, and procedures. This seasonal, remote (work at home) role lasts about 6-8 weeks from September to December, with an 8-hour shift between 7am and 7pm CST and occasional overtime.

Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the Lawrence, KS location, be prepared to pick up and return equipment, and participate in an onsite federal clearance process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Seasonal, remote (work at home) position; duration approximately 6-8 weeks (Sept-Dec).
• Ability to work an 8-hour shift between 7am-7pm CST and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of call center staff to ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures.
• Interview and recommend hiring/promotion of staff in collaboration with Talent Acquisition and HR.
• Develop work schedules and assign duties for efficiency.
• Evaluate performance and initiate appropriate action in coordination with HR.
• Ensure compliance with Wage & Hour policy and rest/meal breaks.
• Provide coaching and identify training needs through weekly sessions.
• Monitor call types and quality performance and provide ongoing coaching.
• Support policy/process improvements in meetings and lead department tasks as needed.
