Remote Call Center Customer Service Representative - Medicaid Member Support – Tier 1

Location Requirement: Reside in Iowa, within an hour of Des Moines.

Compensation and Benefits: $18.00/hour, paid training, equipment provided, full-time position with benefits, career growth opportunities, employee discount program, and full benefits package.

Position Overview

Seeking individuals eager to impact positively and contribute ideas in a supportive environment. Training is Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, for 5-6 weeks. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the initial contact for inquiries from Iowa Medicaid Program recipients and affiliates.
  • Provide telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
  • Document enrollment requests and status changes accurately.
  • Input application and enrollment data into a web-based system.
  • Maintain proficiency in Iowa Family Care rules and related policies.
  • Provide clear and accurate information based on program requirements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a call center customer service environment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with applicants and co-workers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills through analysis and feedback.
  • High School diploma or GED, background check required.
  • Must reside within 1 hour of Des Moines, IA.
Preferred Skills
  • Excellent typing, grammar, and computer navigation skills.
  • Strong customer service and phone etiquette skills.
  • Reliable internet access.
  • Ability to understand and utilize policies.
Additional Information
