Remote - Call Center Customer Service Representative

Medicaid Member Support – Tier 1

Location: The State of Iowa

Eligibility: Reside within an hour of Des Moines, Iowa.

Compensation: $18.00/hour, paid training, full-time with benefits.

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, 5-6 weeks.

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Equipment: Provided from the Des Moines, IA office; pick-up required.

Role Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for inquiries from Iowa Medicaid Program recipients and affiliates.
• Provide telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
• Accurately document enrollment requests and status changes.
• Enter application and enrollment data into a web-based system.
• Maintain proficiency in Iowa Family Care rules and related policies.
• Provide clear, accurate, and complete information based on program requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Experience in a call center or customer service environment.
• Ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Problem-solving skills with analytical thinking and feedback utilization.
• High School diploma or GED; background check required.
• Reside within 1 hour of Des Moines, IA.
