Remote - Call Center Customer Service Representative
Medicaid Member Support – Tier 1
Location: The State of Iowa

Note: You must reside in Iowa, within an hour of Des Moines, to be eligible.

Compensation: $18.00/hour, paid training, equipment provided from Des Moines office.

Position Details: Full-time with benefits. Training runs Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, for 5-6 weeks.

Shifts: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first contact for inquiries from Iowa Medicaid Program applicants and beneficiaries.
  • Provide telephone support, documenting enrollment requests and status changes.
  • Input application and enrollment data into web systems.
  • Maintain proficiency in Iowa Family Care rules and program policies.
  • Offer accurate and clear information based on program requirements.
Minimum Requirements
  • Experience in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Problem-solving ability with ongoing feedback.
  • High School diploma or GED, background check required.
  • Reside within 1 hour of Des Moines, IA.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and empathy.
  • Ability to work with diverse backgrounds.
  • Excellent typing, grammar, and computer navigation skills.
  • Reliable internet access.
