The position focuses on expanding profitable sales, optimizing showroom presence, and coordinating with field sales, distribution, marketing, and operations to execute a unified market plan that delivers incremental revenue and margin growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; master’s degree or advanced accreditation preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of sales, business development, or related experience.
• Experience building new markets, dealer relationships, and managing a pipeline.
• Strong understanding of pricing, gross margin, and showroom economics.
• Excellent communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a California market-development strategy with priority geographies and showroom opportunities.
• Lead business development with priority dealers, stores, designers, remodelers, and firms; coordinate with field teams.
• Translate strategy into an annual operating plan with revenue, showroom expansion, and conversion goals.
• Own the profitable-growth plan for California, including sales, gross margin, and pricing discipline.
• Build a pipeline of opportunities; qualify targets based on brand mix, reach, and growth potential.
• Establish operating cadence with accounts; coach dealer and showroom teams for better conversion.
• Provide market training on product knowledge, trends, and Kohler digital tools.
• Collaborate on demand-creation plans with distributors, dealers, and marketing.
• Represent California insights to leadership; suggest actions to improve speed to market and customer experience.
• Evaluate Store opportunities and coordinate launches, training, and merchandising.
