Qualifications

• Previous experience with mortgage default/collections and eviction is a plus.
• Experience drafting pleadings, making court appearances, handling trial work, and case law research.
• Must be able to handle creditor representation with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients with respect to assigned eviction matters.
• Appear in court and argue motions necessary to completion of eviction and replevin matters.
• Draft, review, and file legal pleadings, motions, and discovery for eviction files.
• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case status.
• Analyze loan files, research, and analyze case law; provide advice to clients.
• Manage caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and other secured creditors relating to eviction.
