Job summary

Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics is seeking an Orthotics and Prosthetics CAD Modifier to translate scans, measurements, and clinician instructions into accurate digital models for fabrication. You will work remotely with clinicians and fabrication staff to ensure production-ready files while maintaining organized case records.

The role requires two years of experience modifying patient-specific digital models in an O&P setting and proficiency with relevant CAD software.

Qualifications

• Two years of professional experience modifying patient-specific digital models for orthotic or prosthetic devices in an O&P setting.
• Proficiency with O&P CAD software for importing scans, applying clinician-directed modifications, and preparing files for fabrication.
• Experience applying buildups, reductions, reliefs, contour changes, and trimlines to models.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming scans, measurements, work orders, and clinician instructions for completeness and consistency.
• Modify digital models per clinician specs and procedures.
• Apply prescribed buildups, reductions, reliefs, contour changes, and trimlines.
• Check model dimensions and anatomical landmarks before submission for review or production.
• Clarify incomplete scans and conflicting information with clinical/fabrication teams.
• Prepare approved files for the fabrication workflow with proper formats and naming conventions.
• Maintain organized records of source files, revisions, and completed work.
• Coordinate priorities and communicate progress and potential delays to the team.
• Protect patient information and follow remote-work security procedures.
