Job summary

BioHorizons in Alabama is seeking a detail-oriented CAD designer to manage cases for Vulcan Custom Dental and both laboratory and clinical customers, processing daily orders to customer specifications. You will perform CAD design of surgical prostheses, work with 3Shape, Exocad or Dental Wings, and handle IOS and CBCT data, ensuring timely production and compliance with quality standards.

The role also involves customer training and collaboration with vendors to support digital dentistry

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience designing crowns, copings, bridges, models and abutments in CAD software desired.
• Knowledge of tooth morphology and scanner data handling is important.

Responsibilities

• Scan cases for implant planning.
• Perform CAD design of surgical prostheses per customer specifications.
• Ensure work follows Quality Manual and meets turnaround times.
• Provide customer support for surgical guides and guided cases.
• Coordinate cases with customers through Care and distribution processes.
• Collaborate with vendors on implant planning requirements.
• Assist in CAD production qualifications and validations.
• Support and train Vulcan customers and partners.
