Comprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics is seeking an Orthotics and Prosthetics CAD Modifier to prepare and modify digital models used to fabricate custom orthotic and prosthetic devices. This remote role collaborates with clinicians and fabrication staff to translate scans, measurements, and clinical instructions into production-ready CAD files.

You will review scans, apply clinician-directed modifications, ensure accuracy, and maintain organized case records while meeting fabrication deadlines.

Qualificações

• Two years of professional experience modifying patient-specific digital models in an O&P setting.
• Proficiency with O&P CAD software for importing scans and modifying models.
• Experience applying buildups, reductions, reliefs, contour changes, and trimlines on models.
• Knowledge of anatomy and how modifications affect fabrication.
• Ability to review scans and data and obtain clarification before proceeding.
• Experience preparing digital files for carving, milling, or additive manufacturing.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable communication.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Review incoming scans, measurements, work orders for completeness.
• Modify digital models according to clinician specs and procedures.
• Apply prescribed buildups, reductions, reliefs, contour changes, and trimlines.
• Check model dimensions, landmarks, and requested changes.
• Clarify incomplete scans, conflicting information with clinical or fabrication team.
• Prepare approved files for fabrication with required formats and naming conventions.
• Maintain organized records of source files, model changes, and revisions.
• Coordinate priorities and communicate progress to the team.
• Protect patient information and follow remote work procedures.
