Job summary

Zoo is building the next generation of hardware design tools with a GPU-optimized CAD engine for boundary representations. We seek a Graphics Engine Software Engineer to implement features, prototype algorithms, and help deliver faster, more reliable geometry and modeling for hardware designs.

You will work with a small, hands-on team to push 3D graphics, CAD modeling, and rendering across GPUs, interfaces, and pipelines, while collaborating across disciplines in a remote-friendly startup

Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with C++14/17 and modern C++ practices.
• Strong background in 3D graphics, rendering and modeling algorithms.
• Experience with Vulkan or OpenGL graphics APIs.
• Experience with GPU computing CUDA.
• Familiarity with CAD editors (Blender, Maya, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Familiarity with Git and source control.
• Experience with low-level and visualization aspects of a graphics pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain CAD modeling algorithms (editing brep data, topological tooling).
• Develop and maintain rendering code in the CAD engine core.
• Implement and improve architectural systems interfacing with graphics APIs and pipelines.
• Analyze code for load time, memory and platform performance optimizations.
• Become expert on product strategy and customer use cases for better solutions.
• Document functionality and implementation details for production engineers.
