The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills (SolidWorks/Inventor/AutoCAD), experience in modular design, and the ability to work quickly under tight timelines while coordinating with remote engineers.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or equivalent).
• Experience with modular design, skid systems, or equipment packaging preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical layouts, tolerances, and fabrication methods.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under short project timelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams.

Responsabilités

• Review and interpret client stationary system drawings, layouts and design files.
• Develop modularized CAD models optimized for rail and truck shipment, ensuring transportability.
• Create detailed fabrication, assembly, and packaging drawings for modular units.
• Collaborate with engineers to incorporate mechanical, structural and logistical requirements.
• Ensure compliance with dimensional constraints, weight limits, lift/rigging points, and regulations.
• Produce revision updates and maintain organized CAD documentation throughout the project.
• Participate in design reviews and rapidly implement feedback.
