Napakiak Environmental & Construction is seeking a skilled CAD Designer for a fast-paced, short-term remote project. The role focuses on converting a stationary system into modular units suitable for rail and truck transport, requiring strong 3D modeling and experience in mechanical packaging.

You will develop modular CAD models, create detailed drawings, and collaborate with engineers to ensure compliance with transport regulations and weight constraints.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software and strong 3D modeling skills.
• Experience with modular design, skid systems, or equipment packaging preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with remote engineering teams.

Responsabilités

• Review client stationary system drawings and design files.
• Develop modular CAD models optimized for transport by rail and truck.
• Create fabrication, assembly, and packaging drawings for modular units.
• Collaborate with engineers to integrate mechanical, structural, and logistics requirements.
• Ensure designs meet dimensional, weight, lift, and transport regulations.
• Produce revision updates and maintain CAD documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and implement feedback quickly.
