Job summary

Remotebridge is seeking a CAD Design Expert (Instructor) for remote engagement on complex multi-part assemblies and parametric modeling. This contractor role focuses on high-quality input to train AI systems, drawing on your domain expertise rather than prior AI experience.

You will mentor others, document design rationales and DFM considerations, and collaborate asynchronously with the project team while delivering expert CAD methodologies and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in professional CAD design leading complex assemblies.
• Mastery of a major parametric CAD software package (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, Inventor, Fusion 360, Onshape, or Solid Edge).
• Ability to articulate design logic, trade-offs, and assembly intent in writing and discussions.
• Experience mentoring, teaching, or enabling others in CAD design.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret product requirements to design robust, manufacturable multi-part assemblies using advanced parametric CAD tools.
• Demonstrate design intent and assembly reasoning with architecture, mating strategies, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Document design rationales, DFM considerations to guide AI learning workflows.
• Create, annotate, and optimize 3D models and assemblies that exemplify expert CAD methodologies.
• Review and critique sample designs, providing detailed feedback on modeling strategies and feasibility.
• Collaborate asynchronously with the project team, responding to queries and clarifying complex design decisions in clear written and verbal communication.
• Contribute educational insights or mentoring content based on your CAD expertise to improve project deliverables.
