Job summary

Metrc is seeking a CSM – CA Project Manager to lead client services delivery for state-defined initiatives and coordinate with developers, tech leads, and product managers. You will drive organizational change, define data needs, deliver training, and manage contract deliverables across maintenance and operations.

The role involves leading California operations, fostering client relationships, and guiding agile delivery across multiple teams, with up to 25% travel and a remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 24 months experience in a project manager or project director role on a project/maintenance engagement with cost of at least $5M.
• Experience delivering mission-critical services to customers.
• Experience translating customer business needs into actionable data insights.
• Experience analyzing data to ensure business needs and technical requirements are met.
• Open to candidates located within California; preferred Government Projects and regulated cannabis industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead California’s Metrc team in delivering services to meet client objectives.
• Foster client-agency relationships through regular communication and understanding of the Metrc system and state regulations.
• Coordinate with internal departments to provide resources for client requests.
• Advise Metrc leadership on California operations and strategic considerations.
• Develop and maintain Maintenance & Operations plans and deliver related services.
• Lead multi-disciplinary Agile delivery teams to meet user needs.
• Deliver contract deliverables in alignment with approved work authorizations.
• Travel up to 25% of work time; support on-site meetings and events.
