Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a senior C++ developer for internal tooling and AI training infrastructure. This fully remote, hourly contract role focuses on high-performance C++ systems supporting data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation infrastructure at scale.

You will design, build, and optimize systems, embed scripting languages, and collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to ensure reliable, scalable workflows. 20–40 hours/week with ongoing project potential.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of production-grade C++ experience.
• Strong systems programming background.
• Experience profiling code in data-heavy environments.
• Comfort embedding Python and Lua in C++.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Native or fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems for AI data pipelines.
• Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation and quality control.
• Profile and debug C++ codebases to remove bottlenecks and improve scalability.
• Embed scripting languages within C++ apps for flexible tooling.
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training.
• Identify data and system edge cases and drive improvements.
• Participate in design reviews to iterate on architecture decisions.
