Job summary

Sentara Health is hiring a Business System Analyst for remote work with opportunities in multiple states. The role focuses on quality assurance, data validation, and the administration of Simplify Benefits1 alongside related business applications.

You will gather and analyze business requirements, validate configurations, and support UAT, testing, and reporting efforts. Collaboration with Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, IT, and vendors is essential to success.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant experience in business systems analysis, QA, testing, reporting, or data analysis.
• Experience supporting business applications and operational processes.
• Experience with system testing, data validation, or QA preferred.
• Healthcare, insurance, benefits administration or regulated industry experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Excel and data analysis tools.
• Ability to collaborate with business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting benefits administration or insurance-related systems.
• Experience with Simplify Benefits1 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing practices.
• Experience with Salesforce, SQL, HTML, reporting tools, or automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA testing and validation of benefit plan data and system outputs.
• Investigate data discrepancies and support root cause analysis.
• Validate system changes prior to implementation.
• Participate in UAT, regression testing, and production validation activities.
• Monitor deliverables and manage priorities to meet timelines.
• Support administration and enhancement of Simplify Benefits1 and related apps.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and processes.
• Monitor data integrity and support issue resolution.
• Identify improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Support automation initiatives and reporting needs.
• Partner with Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Support projects involving system enhancements, testing, data management, reporting, and documents.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
