Job summary

SouthState Bank is offering a remote Business Solutions Internship Program for undergraduates, a 10-week experience focused on banking operations, data analytics, and process improvement, with hands-on exposure to BI tools and production management.

You'll work with seasoned professionals, complete onboarding, mentorship, and speaker series, while developing skills in Excel, Power BI, Visio, and other Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Current undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, or a related field; Rising Senior graduating in December 2027 or May 2028 preferred. 3.4 GPA preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; strong analytical and creative mindset, and eagerness to learn. Experience and/or exposure to Visio, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint and Power Query are a plus!
• Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internship program activities, including workshops, training sessions, and special projects.
• Assist with data analytics, due diligence on projects, and administrative support for business intelligence, process improvement and production management programs.
• Collaborate with business solutions team members, operations managers, analysts/specialists, and team leaders to contribute to real-time business initiatives.
• Prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
