Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a remote Underwriting Specialist to join the Striior team. You will underwrite and manage a book of highly complex specialty accounts, focusing on new business and large account management across nationwide markets.

The role requires 5–7 years of underwriting experience in specialty lines, with Builders Risk expertise preferred and a P&C license or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of progressively more complex, specialty lines underwriting experience.
• Professional insurance designation is preferred (AICPCU, RPLU).
• Wood frame Builders Risk expertise is preferred.
• Hold a Property & Casualty (P&C) License or be willing to secure one following onboarding.

Responsibilities
