Job summary

RemoteFetch is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with tolling/transportation background to join its Adaptation team on a remote, full-time basis.

The role focuses on gathering requirements, documenting specifications, and coordinating with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC for back-office tolling systems. You will work with stakeholders, PMs, and external partners to ensure clear, testable deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; PMI-BA certification is a plus.
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in tolling or transportation back-office systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, SDLC, JIRA, Azure DevOps, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from Product Managers, clients, industry experts, competitive analysis, contracts, and publications.
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand needs and document requirements.
• Collaborate with Product/Project Managers to prioritize and document requirements.
• Work with Development and Test teams to align specifications with business needs and expectations.
• Support development with technical documentation and coordinate with QA for testing.
• Obtain approval of requirements and design documents from customers.
• Document non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and scalability.
• Track and document changes to functional and business specifications.
• Manage tickets, stories, and bugs in JIRA/DevOps with the Scrum Master.
• Oversee project schedules and coordinate with external partners as needed.
